A drive-in festival is taking place in a Trafford Centre car park next week, despite lockdown Tier 3 restrictions.
Included in the event will be car-a-oke, silent discos and a mistletoe kiss cam, all from the safety of your own car. ‘The Parking Lot Social’ are hosting the event which will be socially distanced.
The event takes place from Thursday 3rd December until Tuesday 8th December, with many activities on throughout the week.
There will be two Christmas parties taking place. The main ‘Party night’ will take place on Friday evening.
The children’s party will take place on Saturday and Sunday evening. It will even have a special guest to host the Christmas party. I wonder who this could be? Ho, ho, ho.
Put your feet up and enjoy a Christmas pantomime of Cinderella. The panto will be shown Friday evening at 6pm then Saturday and Sunday morning (10am), afternoon (4:30pm) and evening (7:30pm). Broadcasted across two huge screens, everyone can get a front row view from the comfort of their car.
Many Christmas films will also be broadcasted throughout the week including family favourites, Home Alone and Elf.
You and the kids won’t be going hungry either! There will be Christmas food markets serving a variety of foods, from pizzas to hot chocolates to gingerbread men.
The event is virtual tickets only. Hand sanitiser will be provided at regular intervals and high standard cleaning of the restrooms.
